The Enrollment Report, found within Search & Reports (1) –> Enrollment Report (2), is used to track your progress towards your enrollment goals for the Term (3) selected from the drop down menu.  This allows you to compare enrollment data year over year!

Targets & Totals

The Targets and Totals snapshot displays the total number of enrolled students by grade level and monitors your progress to achieving a targeted number of students for each grade, as defined by the columns listed below:

  • Total Enrolled (1): Displays the total number of enrolled students, both returning and new, by grade level.
  • Target (2): Displays the target number of students you want to enroll for each grade level.  This value includes both new and returning students.  See below for how to set these values.
  • Progress to Target (3): Tracks your progress to achieving your target numbers in a percentage amount.
  • Spots Open (4): Displays the total number of enrollment spots left open for each grade level.
  • Potential Enrollments (5): Total number of students that could still potentially enroll.  This information is broken down in more detail within the Potential Enrollment Details snapshot below.

To view a list of students enrolled at each grade level, click on any of the values in the Total Enrolled (1) column.  The results will open in a list page in search and reports.  From here, you can perform bulk actions, export the data, or create a saved search.

How to Set Targets

To set your target enrollment numbers for each grade level, click on any of the undefined or existing target values in the Target column.

The Set Enrollment Targets window will open. Here you can type in the enrollment targets (1) for each grade, which includes both new and returning students.  Once you’ve set all of your targets, click Save (2) to submit your changes.

Potential Enrollment Details

The Potential Enrollment Details snapshot displays the number of students that could still potentially enroll, organized by grade level and by status, as explained below.  Please note, schools may have different rules for how they define a returning student vs a new student.

  • Returning Students in Enrollment (1): The total number of existing students returning to your school for enrollment.
  • Financial or Academic Hold (2): The total number of returning students that were placed on an academic hold or financial hold for that year.
  • New Students in Enrollment (3): Total number of students that are considered “new” to your school.  Most often this is for a student that’s been moved from an Admissions status into an Enrollment in Progress status for the first time.
  • Accepted (4): The total number of students that have in most cases, completed all required items on their admissions checklist and have been accepted into your school.
  • Waitlisted (5): The total number of students that were placed on a waitlist due to your maximum target numbers being reached.

To view a list of students in each status, click on any of the values in the column and grade level you’d like to view.  The results will open in a list page in search and reports.  From here, you can perform bulk actions, export the data, or create a saved search.

New & Re-Enrollment

The New and Re-Enrollment snapshot displays the total number of newly enrolled and re-enrolled students as well as your yield and retention percentages, organized by grade level.

  • Newly Enrolled (1): The total number of new students at your school that have enrolled for the first time.
  • Yield (2): The total percentage of accepted applicants that enrolled.
  • Re-Enrolled (3): The total number of students that re-enrolled at your school.
  • Not Returning (4): The total number of returning students with the 'not enrolling' status or the 'mid year withdrawal' status.
  • Retention (5): The percentage of current students that are re-enrolling at your school.

To view a list of newly enrolled, re-enrolled, or not returning students, click on any of the values in the column and grade level you’d like to view.  The results will open in a list page in search and reports.  From here, you can perform bulk actions, export the data, or create a saved search.
