Key Information Area

Along the top of the contact record is key information, as described below:

  1. Student Photo
  2. Contact Details
  3. Primary Parent Information
  4. Action Menus
  5. Tabs
  6. Custom contact widget

Student Photo 

This can be uploaded by the parent via a checklist item or by an admin at any point in the process.  It can also be edited by hovering over it for options as displayed below.  Click on the pencil to edit, or click on the garbage can to delete it.

In edit mode, you can select the portion of the photo you’d like to display and crop it accordingly by moving the photo box around and resizing it by dragging out the corners.  Once everything is set, you can view the crop preview on the right, and then click the crop and save button.  You also have the option to download the photo or choose a different photo to upload.

Contact Details

To the right of the photo is the contact’s name, current grade, status, and school year that the contact is inquiring about, applying for, or enrolled for.  This information can be cleaned up if needed via the edit menu along the top right of the record.

Primary Parent Information

In the top right of the record, is the primary parent’s name, phone number, email, and address.

  • Name: Click on the parent name to access their record.
  • Primary Parent: An orange “P” indicates the primary parent assignment.  Click on this icon to re-assign the primary parent.  Select the new contact's name from the drop-down menu and click 'submit.'
  • Financially Responsible Parent: An orange “$” sign indicates if the parent/guardian is financially responsible.  Hovering over the icon will display helper text that directs you to the 'parent portal access' tab of the 'Households' tab to manage financial responsibility.  Click here to learn more.
  • Phone #: Click on the phone number to update the number or phone type.
  • Email address: Click on the email address to update it.
  • Address: This must be updated within the Households tab of the record.

Contact Widget

The contact widget is the area above the checklist where you can customize what fields of information you’d like to see on a student, without clicking over to the personal or admissions tab, and without opening a form.  Click here to learn more.
